Installation

MLOps Desktop is a native macOS application. Download the appropriate version for your Mac below.

  • macOS 12.0 (Monterey) or later
  • Python 3.9 or later
  • Disk Space ~200MB

Download the .dmg file for Apple Silicon Macs:

After downloading:

  1. Open the .dmg file
  2. Drag MLOps Desktop to your Applications folder
  3. Open from Applications (you may need to right-click → Open the first time)
  1. Open MLOps Desktop from your Applications folder

  2. Allow the app to run

    On first launch, macOS may show a security warning. Click “Open” to continue, or go to System Settings → Privacy & Security to allow the app.

  3. Configure Python path

    MLOps Desktop will auto-detect your Python installation. If it doesn’t find Python, see Python Setup.

  4. Ready to go!

    You’ll see an empty canvas. Head to the Quickstart to build your first pipeline.

MLOps Desktop will notify you when updates are available. To update manually:

  1. Download the latest version from GitHub Releases
  2. Close MLOps Desktop if running
  3. Replace the app in your Applications folder

To remove MLOps Desktop:

  1. Quit the application
  2. Drag MLOps Desktop from Applications to Trash
  3. (Optional) Remove settings: rm -rf ~/Library/Application\ Support/com.mlops.desktop

”App is damaged and can’t be opened”

Section titled “”App is damaged and can’t be opened””

This is a macOS Gatekeeper issue. Run this command in Terminal:

xattr -cr /Applications/MLOps\ Desktop.app

Then try opening the app again.

  1. Check Console.app for crash logs
  2. Ensure you’re running macOS 12+
  3. Try downloading the latest release
